3. How we use information

AI training

We don't sell your information, and we don't train AI models on it. Our voice provider, Deepgram, may keep part of the call and voice audio and transcripts to improve its speech recognition. Deepgram says it will never redistribute data to third parties without permission and never uses it for marketing or advertising profiles. Details: Deepgram's Model Improvement Partnership Program.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We also use Meta Pixel (including Meta's Conversions API) and Mautic to measure ad performance and understand how visitors move through the site, and to send relevant follow-up communications if you've provided your email. These work similarly to Google Analytics — standard event/pageview data, not sensitive personal information — and can be limited the same way, through your browser's cookie settings or ad-platform privacy controls (e.g. Meta's own Ad Preferences).

The Unmanually application uses strictly necessary cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. These aren't optional — they're required for the app to function.

Unmanually's Facebook Page and Instagram account are managed through a Meta developer app that posts content on our own behalf — it does not collect or access data from Facebook/Instagram users who view or interact with our posts.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only with:

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Data deletion instructions: you can delete your account and its data yourself in the app or on the web under More → Settings → Delete account. You can also request deletion of any data associated with your account (including data collected via connected platforms like Facebook or Instagram) by emailing [email protected] with your account email or business name.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information — including encryption in transit, access-controlled storage, and reliance on security-vetted third-party providers (Stripe and Clerk are both PCI-DSS/SOC 2-aligned providers) for sensitive data like payment and authentication credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. International users

Unmanually is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above; for significant changes we'll provide more prominent notice (for example, via email to registered users).

12. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your personal information can be directed to [email protected].

This policy is a plain-language description of our actual data practices, not a substitute for legal advice. If Unmanually is processing EU/UK personal data at meaningful volume, or payment data beyond Stripe's standard integration, this document should get a pass from a lawyer before being treated as a binding compliance artifact.
