3. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking site-wide by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

The Unmanually application uses strictly necessary cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. These aren't optional — they're required for the app to function.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information — including encryption in transit, access-controlled storage, and reliance on security-vetted third-party providers (Stripe and Clerk are both PCI-DSS/SOC 2-aligned providers) for sensitive data like payment and authentication credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your personal information can be directed to [email protected].

This policy is a plain-language description of our actual data practices, not a substitute for legal advice. If Unmanually is processing EU/UK personal data at meaningful volume, or payment data beyond Stripe's standard integration, this document should get a pass from a lawyer before being treated as a binding compliance artifact.
